Every year Sabitribai Phule Pune University arranges an exam known as Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH SET). This test is conducted for the selection of Assistant Professor in the colleges of Goa and Maharashtra.

MHSET exam includes two papers, paper1 and paper2. Paper1 consists of 50 questions and, the question of this paper includes general subjects and Teaching and Research Aptitude questions. However, paper 2 consists of 100 questions that are asked from the subjects selected by the candidates.
