Louis Vuitton enters the vegan apparel market with its first sustainable luxury shoe.

Named ‘The Charlie,’ this shoe is made out of entirely recycled or sustainable materials. The upper of The Charlie is made out of vegan corn leather. This is a fully sustainable vegetable fiber base for the largest part of the shoe. The rest of The Charlie follows this sustainable goal by being made out of recycled rubber, fibers, and waste.

The Charlie is a white shoe with black and brown accents. The shoe features the Louis Vuitton logo in black on the side and the famous brown and gold Louis Vuitton pattern on the heel. The Charlie is available in high-top and low-top variations that both retail over $1,000, so this shoe is definitely a luxury pursuit for those interested in the highest end of shoe fashion.
